Guangdong 100MWh grid side independent energy storage power station officially landed
On July 19th, Southern Power Grid Peak shaving and Frequency Regulation (Guangdong) Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. successfully won a construction site located in Hedong Industrial Zone, Wuhua County, Meizhou City, for the Meizhou Wuhua Power Grid side independent energy storage project, marking the official landing of Guangdong's 100 megawatt hour power grid side independent energy storage project, which is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of the year.
The Meizhou Wuhua Grid side independent energy storage project, as a new energy storage demonstration project of Guangdong Provincial Energy Bureau and Southern Power Grid Corporation, is an important measure for Southern Power Grid Corporation to implement the central construction of a new power system.
The project is invested, constructed and operated by Southern Power Grid Peak shaving and Frequency Regulation (Guangdong) Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. The construction scale is 70MW/140MWh, covering an area of about 19 acres. After the project is put into operation, it will become a 100 megawatt hour new energy storage project in Guangdong Province, which can provide strong guarantees for the consumption of new energy and the safe and stable operation of the power grid in the surrounding areas of Meizhou.
The first independent energy storage project on the grid side of Hainan Free Trade Port has been officially launched
On July 15th, the investment decision for the independent energy storage project on the grid side of Haikou Yaogu in Hainan Province was completed, marking the official launch of the first independent energy storage project on the grid side of Hainan Free Trade Port, which is planned to be completed and put into operation within the year.
The Haikou Yaogu Energy Storage Project is a specific measure taken by Southern Power Grid Peak shaving and Frequency Modulation Power Generation Co., Ltd. to accelerate the construction of a Chinese style free trade port with global influence and a pioneer in the construction of a new power system in Hainan. It is the first independent energy storage project on the grid side in Hainan Province and has important pioneering demonstration significance.
The project is invested, constructed and operated by Southern Power Grid Peak shaving and Frequency Regulation (Guangdong) Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., with a construction scale of 5MW/10MWh, located in Yaogu Development Zone, Xiuying District, Haikou City. After the completion of the project, it can significantly alleviate the power load tension in the Yaogu Development Zone and the overload situation of the main transformer in the Yaogu Substation, improve the power supply reliability of the Yaogu area, and provide high-quality auxiliary service resources for the Hainan power grid.
